Default Kellogg's Cereal Straws
Old 03-09-2008, 12:23 PM   #1 (permalink)

Ok, so the boys just had to have these!! But now that we have the chocolate ones, we have over half a box left!

They didn't like them. :(

DS#1 said they taste funny when drinking milk through them.

DS#2 just isn't interested in them after trying them twice.

DS#3 doesn't like how they get soggy really fast.

DS#4 will eat anything, but for some reason just won't touch these!

Maybe the fruitloops flavor is better!

Saw these on the shelf. Wondered how they would taste. Do you think they might like them better if they ate them by themselves instead of with milk? You know, like eating cereal straight out of the box. Maybe they would be better just as a snack. Just a thought.

Just experimented with #4 and he likes it without the milk! :D  :D

Now I wonder if the other 3 are willing to try them again.

The chocolate ones kinda taste like a NuttyBuddy icecream cone. Just, the cone, lol!

And don't waste your $$ on the Fruit Loops, either. They're not much better. Austin still has a full pack of those sitting on the counter.. unopened. I thought for sure he'd at least pick out the red ones, but nope. He don't like them neither. LOL!

Default Kellogg's Cereal Straws
Old 03-12-2008, 10:10 AM   #5 (permalink)

My 6 & 8 year olds had to have these also. I bought the fruit loop kind instead of the chocolate ones due to my 8 year old can't handle chocolate very well, she get's very hyper. Anyway they liked them but not enough to eat them everyday. I've had the same box for 3 weeks now. They've eat maybe 6 of them. I told them that just because it looks good doesn't always mean it will taste good.LOL

My kids have some in the pantry too. They tried the fruit loop straws only once and didn't like them.

Hey Ladies,

Add Scotty to the list that didn't like the fruit loop straws. I fed them to the animals. The Rot liked them, but he likes everything.

Hugs,
Barb
