Question How's it growing?
Old 06-13-2009, 10:35 PM   #1 (permalink)

How are everyone's gardens doing?

Around here a lot have had to replant. DH had to replant peas.
It is next to impossible to find a tomato plant. The frost got so many that people were buying new ones like crazy.

The gentleman that we are sharing the garden with had the chickens eat all of his cabbage plants. They were put in time out in the coop.

The weather is warming up so maybe we will see more action in the gardens. Of course we have a healthy crop of weeds.

Make me jealous, tell me about your garden.

I don't have a garden, living in an appartment. I have herbs on the balcony though, parsley and sellery and thyme and dil and mint and sage and lavender and some more. They are growing like crazy, I can't eat them fast enough
I really have to keep an eye on them to see if they get enough water but otherwise, it's going fine

Talking Good going....
Old 06-14-2009, 10:20 AM   #3 (permalink)

My garden is doing great so far. Tomato, peppers and okra look fine. We do need some hot days to help the okra. So I hope we get better weather soon.

Stopped by the nursery and the veggie plants are just about gone.
I have the front of the house covered with roses but the back yard the roses are slowly going away.

Have a good day and happy gardening.

Our is pitiful. We had the plants growing really good inside and as soon as we planted them they all died! So we are in the process of replanting EVERYTHING. I picked up some strawberry and tomato plants and crossing my fingers they don't' die too.

I hope you all have a better luck with your gardens!

The tulips are beautiful. I don't have any vegetables planted at the house. The back yard is almost all flower garden. I love my flowers, but, the dogs are slowly ruining most of those.

Theresa, love your flowers, they are beautiful! We planted 3 tomato plants in buckets and I finally have blooms and at least one small green tomato! The tomatoes are all I'm growing this year. I guess I'm gonna have to start watering them though as we're having temps near 100*F this week. Summer isn't even here yet.
Hugs, Paula
