Looking for Wholesaler of Cracker Barrel Jars

Hello All,

I sure hope some of you seasoned crafters can help me. I'm into making the candle lamps. I want to do some in the cracker barrel jars. I would like to purchase the 1/2 gal. or 1 gal size. Does anyone know where these jars can be purchased wholesale? I've been searching the net, but so far no luck.

Hope someone can help.

Also, can anyone who does these lamps tell me an easier way of putting the cord through the whole in the jar. My husband rewired ours at the on/off switch, but it seem like it took forever. There has to be an easier way. I've attached a picture of the one I did for myself.

I have been looking for the same jars for a long time too, but no luck. I finally went to our Dollar General Store and Big Lots, don't know if you have one in your area, but they are Great. Anyway, they sell hot peppers in gallon glass jars, since my Daughter-in-law eats hot peppers by the hands full, I give them to her and keep the jars. Some times I find them at yard sales, but rare.

As for the candle lights, I buy them from Factory Direct Craft Supply, they come unassembled and it is a lot easier to wire thru the hole in the jar.
