| I made this for supper last night and we really enjoyed it. It's not spicy by any means, but a nice flavor anyway.
Quick Chili
1 lb lean ground beef
2 c. mixed frozen vegies (I used corn and peas)
1 Tbsp. chili powder
2 small cans of brown beans
1/2 c. water
Brown the meat in a saucepan. Drain. Add the frozen vegies, chili powder and 1/2 c. water. Simmer until vegies are thawed. Add the baked beans and simmer for about 15 minutes or until hot and flavors are blended.
This serves 3 or 4. Serve with fresh bread or buns. |
