Default Frying Chicken Question
Old 01-28-2004, 04:06 PM   #1 (permalink)

I am not the greatest fried chicken cook and I was wondering, if you don't have any eggs, can you use something else to dip the chicken pieces in before rolling them in flour????

This coming from a Texas gal . I always put flower and salt in a bag put chicken pieces in the bag and shake to coat well then fry in a hot skillet to brown on all sides then cover and let cook until done, tender juicy chicken everytime. My mom nor grandma never did the batter stuff. You can dip in milk then flour and that should work fine.
