Need help with reverse shaping

I want to make a sweater for my gd. I read the instructions and I understand the one for the right front. But I don't understand the ones for the left front. It says to Work same as Right Front reversing the shaping. I have never done reverse shaping before. I would appreciate some help with this. Thanks in advance.

when I'm doing a pattern like this .... I lay the first front piece with the decrease side to the apporiate side then work the other side the same way until you get to the decrease... make sure your decreasing on the side oppsite of the other front piece .... i hope this make sense ...
