Do any of these places sell cotton "rovings"? I live in the South, and there's not much need for wool here. I would really love to make stuff with handspun cotton, if I could.
How about your local thrift shops? Tons of wool sweaters that can be frogged for the 100% wool yarn and re-used, and for a few dollars, you know you have enough wool for a sweater. Just a thought.
