I GOT THE KNIFTY KNITTER AND I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YA. I DID THE FIRST ROW OF THE DIRECTIONS. IT IS HARD FOR ME TO SEE. MY QUESTION IS WHEN YOU DO THE SECOND ROW DO THEY WANT YOU TO LIFT THE VERY BOTTOM STITCH ON THE PEG OR THE BOTTOM STITCH OF THE SECOND SET YOU PUT ON???????????HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP.

Oh my you do need help. Im not Patricia but I know the right answer to your question.

Lift the very bottom first row over the top second row. You did you two strands of yarn right and there has to be two rounds of stitches to be able to knit so bottom first row has two strands so both are lifted over the top two strands.

Thought I would explain that two different ways just incase.

Dont forget that you will have to make the cuff so dont knit ahead too far, depends on what size hat your making ofcourse. We will be here when you need us for that part.
