i have been searching past posts and have come up with a list of tips, if you would like to add a tip just post it as a regular post and i will update the sticky as they are posted.
- Always have a good light source to work with.
- Keep supplies organized. You can use a tool box, tupper ware, bags, or you can buy beading container in your local craft store.
-Work on a towel. This minimizes beads from bouncing when you drop them, and you will!!
-You can stick your beading needles into the towel when you are not using them.
- Estamate string length: for standard stringing, use length, times 2 plus 10 inches, for knotting use length, times 4 plus 10 inches.
-Use a paint pad in a clean styrofoam tray, beads fall down but dont rol away.
-a little of clear finger nail polish or white glue dabbed on your knots will make them more secure.
-if you put a white bead where a black bead should go, use a fine tip permanent marker to correct it.
