Hello everyone! I signed up for this forum a long time ago, and Im not sure why I never came back. But, I got a reminder email, so I decided to come and see what's up!
My name is Nancy, Im 57, almost 58..
I have two daughters and two stepsons. I am a widow and I get very lonely. My Mike passed away in Jan.
I also have 3 grandkids, but Mike,jr. lives in Washington state, so I don't see my step grandaughter. But my daughters kids, I see all the time. She is a three hour ride but I try and get down there at least once a month. She has two boys, 3 and 10 months. She kept them home all summer, and nearly had a nervous breakdown!!! The baby can walk already and he follows her like a puppy dog. She is going to have trouble with him in daycare. He is not going to want to have her leave him there. He is so attached to her.
I make soap and candles mostly, some crafty type items. My shoppe should be open this week. It's called StrawberriCandles and Such. StrawberriCandles & Such Hope you come and visit. If you sign up for my newsletter, I will put you in my monthly contest, this months is three soaps in any scent I have, it's a really good deal.
Well, that's my intro, now I will go and check around the rest of the site.

Welcome Nancy. I too have not been very active on this site, but I think I a getting better at i t. It didn't help that I got very sick and was laid up for a long time. Now things are better and I plan to be more interactive with the Crafters' Community. My husband feels its a great thing to have people wi th the same interests as me to talk with.

Thank you for your kind words. I live in Prospect,Maine which is 20 miles south of Bangor. One of my girls live in Berwick and the other one lives near Standish, I like to go down about once a month, but the old car I have is given me fits. Now, it needs a fan belt. And possibly two front tires. And my cats need to go to the animal clinic for shots. Doesn't look like I will have the money to go til the babies Bday which is October 5. He is so sweet, always smiling. Only cries now for his bottle. Now, he has learned how to walk, and he's a handful. And his older brother, who just turned 3 is also a handful. But, she is putting them back into day care so she is going to work. It's too bad it has to be that way. They are a hair away from losing their home. So, she had to go back to work. The kids don't seem to mind daycare. Plus, she is taking classes at night, so she can become a RN. She has alot more energy than I can even remember. I know I was busy too when my kids were little, but I had girls who are somewhat easier to take care of. Boys like to throw things and hit their brother! But, they are also very sweet, they call me gram. That's because the babies father's mother was going to be Nana. I felt badly, but now Im used to it.
Well, now that Im back, I will try and post everyday.
