INTERNET AUCTIONSA Board to ask questions about how to start, how to get help, tips, how to show your items and where an available auction site can be found.
Ebay not been good for me lately, so I'm giving IOFFER.COM a try! The concept is simple: If you see something you like and think it's a reasonable price, buy it. If you think the item is a little too pricey, make the seller an offer. They can either accept it, reject it or counter with another price!
I have several of my dolls and a couple books listed. Give them a look when you get a chance. Thanks!
I've signed up for Overstock.com but haven't listed anything yet. Their retail site is pretty awesome; great deals there! A friend of mine said she shops there all the time and has always been satisfied with her purchases.
The auction part of it is still pretty new and doesn't look to have that much activity yet, at least for doll art. Have you listed there?
So far I only listed 2 things that didn't sell...they deduct fees instantly afterwards from your credit card. It was strange with all these folks emailing me to accept them as my overstock.com friends or something. I will try them again later.
I didn't like all those emails, either. I think I answered the first two, maybe three, then ignored the rest. Frankly, I don't see the point in that. I joined a couple of the groups in hopes of pulling some attention to my sales.
Did you sell your items on ioffer or overstock.com?
