Go and buy a Chalkboard of any size. I prefer the 12"x18" size. Pick out a stencil that you like..I chose a birdhouse with a small bird..then center it and paint it on the board. Then I used a small ivy stencil putting one above and one below the birdhouse stencil. Then I attached white lace with a glue gun all the way around the edge of the wooden frame. I had seen this in a craft store and just copied it. It is so very cute..got lots of compliments and cost under $10.00
