But yes on the most part I have most of my things very organised!!
and a handy husband that will put up a shelf when I may need one!!
It helps when you have your own space and room to do so!!
Most of my containers are purchased at the $ store.
Every time I go to the $ store I pick up a few of the containers I use, this way it doesn't hurt the pocket book all at once and you don't get overwhelmed with a big job of thinking you have to organise everything at once!!
Lately I have been picking up 4 plastic shoe boxes and a couple of the round stackers for beads.
I pick up vintage beads almost every weekend so when I get home I can cut the necklace apart and sort out what I want to keep and what I bag up for resale.
The shoe boxes are perfect for larger craft items and they fill up fast!!
I do want to pick up more the disc holders as I seem to pick up more and more scrapbooking supplies, lately!!LOL I can only get these at one paticular $ store and it is not in my area.!!Ugh!!
Yea I've seen pics of those "other" areas in Patricia's craft room - not a pretty sight.
I've been trying to clean up my craft room for days and feel like I'm making no progress at all. At least you can see the floor now. If I ever get it cleaned up enough, I'll post a pic so you can all see it at least ONCE neat and tidy cause it won't last long.
Patricia do you want to come over and organize my craft room,please... Mine is a mess all the time...I do have large plastic containers that fit my 12X12 card stock and papers and 3 standing shelves that hold my painting supplies and books...and I have a huge solid oak table that has 3 drawers for holding more stuff but it always looks so messy here...
Like all the ideas you have...will have to try some for myself...
Today I am drawing out a plan of what I want my craft room to look like so I can get the right kind of storage containers. But I see a $ store visit in my future!

I just find the right size container does the trick and keep it simple!!
Don't buy a bunch that don't stack togther!!
The shoe boxes are also great for you stickers, and such!! Just lable them and put the stuff back in when you are finished!!(that's a hard one I know)LOL!!!
The drawer units are a grea investment if you do paper crafts cause you can buy them with all the same size drawers, of the veried type, I have both!!
