| OMG! A dream come true! That's what I thought until I saw the price of $1295.00. It is gorgeous, but, I will have to have my things in all of these little boxes etc. that are all over the place. | | | | | Junior Member Level up: 5%, 34 Points needed |

| Hi! That is a neat cabinet but where would I put it? Not to mention the cost. My house is out of room. I also love the thrift stores. I find a lot of cheap craft supplies there and on occasion storage containers. Found 3 floss holders (like the stores used to use) one time. Two are being used in the craft room to hold floss and assorted other small stuff. The other is in the kitchen for sauce mixes and stuff like that.
Oh our kids got tired of their dvd holder (it was too small I think) so they gave it to us. It was too big for our dvd collection so I put it in the craft room. It is great in there. It has adjustable shelves so it worked out great.
It seems like nothing is what is seems in my house. Have a wood bread box (it holds all my sewing machine accessories) a jewelry box (it holds small sewing stuff including all kinds of needles and needle threaders), cd cases for ribbon, another cd case for leather strips and for a crazy idea a nail gun metal case to hold my colored plastic canvas. It keeps it flat and out of the way.
There are just a few ways to be cheap and recycle. Oh and I even have a file cabinet in there for books and other stuff. Oh on the floppy disk holders (the bigger ones) make excellent storage for pens and pencils. | | | | | Moderator Level up: 23%, 225 Points needed |

| I've used many of the things already mentioned but my absolute fave has to be zip lock baggies. They make them in every size and shape. I put those little balls of yarn that are too much to pitch but unwind easily together by color or yarn type in a gallon bag. Ribbons can be looped and semi-folded into bags - take up less room than rolls and no need for little pieces of tape or pins. Beads are all kept in baggies and then in larger fishing tackle boxes.
I'd be absolutely lost without them bags.
Those storage boxes are amazing! But I'd rather buy more crafting supplies than sink that much into containers for them. | | | Michele

| omg I want that! Would that be the coolest thing in the world for those of us with very limited space. Wow. Only problem is I would have to rob a bank to get it, lol. Then of course I would not need it because I would get caught and be in jail. sigh, putting that on my WISH list for another time, sigh. | | | | | Senior Member Level up: 32%, 154 Points needed |

| I use my Yaffa Blocks to hold my cross stitch kits. A big Bright Pink File Folder Crate for my cross stitch booksa and other cross stitching supplies like my floss cards and colored pencils I use to mark off on my charts. Then I have cheap tote bag I bought for current projects. | | | | | Junior Member Level up: 5%, 34 Points needed |

| Hi! I see a bunch of us reuse things. That is really great. But then I sometimes think that crafters are the queens of the reusers. Hubby brought me in a present last week. He found me a new (used) file cabinet. I love it because the top two drawers are designed for 2 (side by side) 4 by 6 index cards. I am sorting through recipes and moving them all to there. Though I am winding up with a ton of plastic shoe boxes. No worries though, they will find new uses. Though at least with the new file cabinet, all the extra computer stuff will have one place and not be scattered. | | | | |
