| Now I'm not talking about across town.....I'm talking across the country?? Or how about those military families that move to other countries?? Growing up in a military family I know that they are only allowed a certain amount of stuff and they actually weigh it to make sure that they don't go over!
If you had to down-size your belongings for a move would you take all of the papers and books and collections? What about the cabinet of plastic containers and lids, all of the toiletries~ things seem to multiply when it comes time to move!
When moving there is a tendency to get rid of a certain amount of clutter. What is the point to move all of the clutter?? Often times when people are moving they just get to a point where they toss everything in a box so it can be loeaded on the truck. Then once it is moved those boxes aren't ever unpacked.
Try to adopt a moving mindset all things are in motion. What is the point to have all of this stuff if you don't use it?? (More on this in a future topic)
Look around you~think about the idea of you having to move~what would you really need to take with you~what are those items that you can't truly live without?? What is left over is the excess! See what you can do to get rid of some of the excess~
a rolling stone gathers no ~ the same can go for clutter
