DAY 13: When it is icy.....

If you live in the area of the country that often gets ice & snow it is always a good idea to have something on hand to put out to melt the snow!



Living in Texas we don't get much ice or snow but when we do it never fails~I'm not prepared!

Once year I put table salt on the steps to melt the ice! Needless to say I also killed the grass!





Once again I'm ill prepared!~

We are having nasty weather here and don't you know I have nothing to put on the ice to melt it! It wouldn't have been that bad however~my daughter needed to go to the store to pick up supplies for a project in science.



So as we were heading to the store guess who busted their behind on the ice~then that same person reglected to pick up ice melting supplies at the store!



So here is my tip for the day~Always be prepared! Now this can apply to many situations but for me and my behind it is apply to ice!

Guess who poured Morton Salt on my front steps???



I saw him heading back in to the kitchen with the salt container~Didn't bother asking him cause I know what he did!



NOTE TO SELF: Next time at the store buy some Ice Melting crystals!!
