I was looking at another forum and I found some facts on different things and I thought you might like them.

I thought they were kinda neat. So everyday I'll post them on here for you guys.

Okay here they are.



GARDEN:

To keep long stemmed flowers standing straight in a wide mouthed vase, create a lattice across the top of the vase with a transparent tape, that will keep them from flopping over.



GARDEN:

If your garden leaves you green tomatoes, chop them and use them as you would green peppers, in cassarole, omelets, and other dishes.



FOOD:

For food stuck on a cast iron pan, pour in some vinager, sprinkle salt over it and bring to a boil.



MILK:

Mix up a 50/50 solution of skim milk and water, and spray roses with a blend to stop the growth of black spot

(a fungal disease).



FLIES:

Spray windex on them, it won't stop them but it will long enough for you to grab it with a paper towel so you can get rid of it. ( but you gotta be fast about it)

You've got some good ideas here. Why don't you post them on the Helpful Hints board? That would probably be a better place and more people would see them.

I especially like the one for black spot on rose leaves. I will definitely try it next year, as I have a problem with black spot.
