Help tiny little fruit flies

Does anyone have any suggestions for ridding those tiny little fruit flies.



I am at my witts end with these little things. I have taken all my fruit and put it in the fridge, clean and bleach all the counters and cleaned out all the cupboards. I have bleached and clean my garbage can(which I normally do weekly but have done twice this week). They are still here in the house and driving me nuts. There are only a few but just enough to bother me to no end.



Any suggestions for clearing them out. I have sprayed raid as well. Just nasty no die little pests.

Make a trap:



Use a plastic bowl with a lid, like a butterbowl or something. Make a tiny hole in the middle, put some fruit in the bowl and put the lid on. The lil bugs will go inside the little hole to lay eggs on the fruit, but they won't be able to escape, lol! It works... I use it every year for about a week, then I don't see anymore fruit flies.

We usually end up spraying our windows and the outside of the house with Bug Free Back yard and that helps a lot. [img]images/smiley_icons/oh yes.gif[/img]

I refuse to buy fruit in a store when I see those little devils!! Ugh!!

<font size="3"><font color="darkblue">Would you believe that I helped raise those little critters when I was in high school for a science fair project??? We would even determine the sex of them and put one boy with 20 girls! Talk about REPRODUCTION!!!

Anyway check out this site for instructions on making a trap for them!
