Hi everyone,
The question I have to ask is probably the most stupid question you will ever hear, lol.
I am new to sewing and I made a handbag. All my daughters saw it and now they all want one.
The problem is: one daughter wants a bigger handbag, another daughter wants a long tote back and the other daughter saw a handbag with all different panels in the front and back. It is all a different language to me.
Could someone Please explain to me how to make different sizes of these items. I would appreciate it so much.
I told you that was stupid, lol.
Thank you so much, STAY HEALTHY, Lori Twizzels

If you are good with copiers, take your pattern to a copier and size it up to whatever % you want. You will probably have to piece it together when you finish because you are limited to letter size paper. Or if you are patient, put your pattern on a large piece of paper and mark around the outside maybe 1 inch bigger all around or whatever measurements you want. I make dots and then connect them. If your purse hase a strap, just leave it the size it is unless you want it longer. Good luck!

Hi Sew2b,
Thank you for the information. I cannot believe how dumb I am.
One of my daughters and her hubby live in Misery, lol. (thats what I call it.) ,MO. Both of them work in printing places with these huge machines that does everything. I never even thought of that. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Also I loved your website.
Take care, Lori Twizzels:frien ds::applause :

There are no stupid questions. We all have to start somewhere and as a beginner you will have a lot of questions. Never be afraid to ask because I am sure someone has an answer. The above answer is the same as I would have given you so good luck with the handbags.
