Default Quilling Question
Old 05-29-2008, 11:33 PM   #1 (permalink)

I have a Quilling kit from Lake City Craft Co to make Christmas Angels (kit #228) . I know how to make most of the types of rolls and scrolls etc. My question is ....how much of the strip is used to make them. No where in this kit does it tell you how much of the strip to use for each type of roll or scroll necessary to make the angel. It says for example: Glue together a roll of 7 sky blue 2" open hearts for the lower edge of the skirt.....How much of the strip makes a 2 " open heart?????? also in the instructions it says ...begin by tearing off a strip of paper to a length specified in the instructions....THERE ARE NO INSTRUCTIONS AS TO HOW MUCH TO TEAR OFF!!!!

Hey Gingercake...heard from the company...Lake City Craft Co.....I think that it was pretty prompt! Here's the answer to my question:
The instruction means you need to make 7 sky blue open hearts, each open heart is made with a 2" strip of sky blue paper. Then glue them together in a row as shown in the pattern. I hope this helps you, if you need any help please feel free to give me a call and I will be happy to help in any way possible.

Have a great day!
Danette

I have put them on my companies to buy from in future list...since they were so prompt in answering.....
