Unhappy cigar boxes

Hi guys! I have gotten my hands on quite afew wooden cigar boxes. Anyone have any ideas? I have used some fo the ones that the lid slides to make shadow boxes. And I've made purses but now I'm stumped. Please Help if you can. Thank You!!!!

I saw an idea on HGTV where they hung the boxes on the wall for nick nack shelves. Also, you could pad the top (pin cushion) and make fabric covered, cardboard dividers for the inside for a sewing box. Congradulations on the score, I'm jealous.

I love the sewing box idea, thanks Laura

I made a Christmas arrangment in one once with the lid up at the back
jewellery box
I store buttons in one which I decorated

sorry cant be more help but am anxious to see what people come up with

I've made tons of cigar boxes and given them as gifts. By starting with a theme, then building on it, I have come up with some interesting results. My favorite was a Wizard of Oz thesme, complete with a yellow brick road. I always decoupage, add glitter, paint, whatever strikes my fancy. The inside can be lined with anything like felt or fabric, or just painted.
