Scarry Man On Porch

Another thing I do is build a man and sit him on the porch next to the door.

I put him together with:

Some old blue jeans
T-shirt
Hoody
Old Shoe-boots or socks
Old Work gloves
As time went on I added a White Apron & Plastic Cleaver
I printed a mask off of the computer and glued on wiggly eyes or Cheap Mask from the movie Scream from the Dollar store
Balloon for the head
Empty box - A case pop (the long size works best) for the chest
Safety Pins
LOTS of plastic bags from the grocery stores to stuff the body with - not paper as it will sag when it gets wet.

Directions:

I stuffed all of the arms and legs with bags. Stuck the pop box inside the t-shirst for the chest. Saftey pinned the pants and t-shirt, shoes on the bottom of pants all together. put the mask and balloon together. Put Hoody on and prop on Chair and stick yard stick inside the pop box to attach the head and back together so the head does not flop. Attach gloves to the arms. Put apron on and lay plastic clever in hands. You can add fake blood for a more goulish effect.
