I have finally gotten around to makingmup some of these and I'm finding that my paint is peeeling off of them. Besides cleaning them with alcohol is there anything else I'm supposed to do to the lightbulbs? Please help if you can. Thanks so very much. God Bless

Hi Sarasgmaw...Are you using Enamel Paint? I found when I paint on any type of glass with acrylic paints the paint peels off...I have been using Folk Art Acrylic Enamel Paint and it seems to work alot better...have a great day

Thank you for this info. Before I waited to hear back from anyone I used the gesso base coat and then started painting. So hopefully this will help until I get to the store to get some of the other paint. Thank you so very much. Everyone is so friendly here at crafterscommunity, I enjoy being a part of such a nice group of people.

I have heard of some people using "Triple Thick" after the glass has been painted. I haven't made any lightbulbs lately but when I get back to them I am going to try it. I guess it is in the acrylic craft paints group.
