Well I didn't get too much today. I did get a few vintage pieces of pottery for my collections. I also picked up an old hat pin holder which I have been wanting for ever!!! Only a dollar!!LOL I make hat pins so I will use it in my display!!

DH got a bunch of tools and he got me another shoe horse, as I weem to be collecting them, since I took my fathers when he passed away!! I love my bathers cobbler shoe horse and have been drawn to many such items since, and have started a collection!! I also was just given his old shoe shine boox which I cleaned up and have in my back hall!!

Anyway I got a few things today, no beads or jewellery items!!Ugh!!!

You'll have to wait a bit, Patricia, I'm saving the best ones for fall. Ebay is too slow in the summer so I will just put all my critters in the cupboard until then! Will spend the summer cruisin' for more great bargains! Ahhh, the thrill of the chase!

Hello, my name is Myrna and I am a yard-sale-aholic!
I LOVE hunting for a bargain!! I have bought all sorts of things from furniture to knicknacks for phenominal prices. Can't even remember half of them now. I mainly collect 50's era kitchen ware and Depression glass, primarily Candlewick, but love lots of colored pieces. (I am like an old crow....see something shiny & colorful and I swoop in to grab! ) One of my most recent purchases was a box full of 73 sets of older salt & pepper shakers for $7.00! I kept 2 sets and will sell the rest....I have chickens, fish, owls, bears, squirrels, lanterns, fruit, and even light bulb shakers! Waaaay too many to keep but I know I will have no problem selling them and then I will have more money to go play some more!!

    Welcome to all Junk'n junkies!!!LOL

    I love sale'n!!!

I furnished my first apartment with Garage sale finds and it was stuning!! I was just very picky about what I picked up!!

I have bought things from Royal Doulton Figurines to plants for my gardens!!

I have had to come home and unload so I could go out and finish sale'n!!!

DH likes to go and look for tools and such. We have bought some great things, and have made a lot of money on some of our purchases!!

I buy both for the house(my collections) and for in my little store!! I have been selling antiques off and on for about 15 years. I had a lot of books on antiques, but sold a lot of them, because the internet is a better resorce!!

I collect Royal Doulton, my best find was 6 figurines, for $300 and for some reason I had the money on me!!LOL

I also collect single coloured toothpick holders!! I love this small collectible in the wonderfuly bright vintage pottery!!

I also watch for cream coloured vintage pottery for in my bedroom!!

Along with the toothpick holders I collect vintage S&P's and Roasters!!!

I have a few large decorative things that I don't even know what they are for but I like the colour!!! I collect things that are burgandy too, for in my kitchen area!!!LOL

I think that is it!! I will pick up anything I just love, if the price is right!!!!LOL

How about you?? What do you look for when you are Sale'n??
