I am working on a quilt made out of head bandana's, the problem I have encountered is the bandana's are not all uniform in size. I cut out a template to the smallest size I have, but what I found to be a problem is I can't see where to place it exactly so I don't cut any design off. Any suggestions on what I can use, that is inexpensive so I can see it? I have no pattern this is just off the cuff, a hair brain idea that both my husband and I came up with. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Well Happy 2009, Now that the holidays are over I have just a little bit of time to give to my sewing. I think I might take on a commissioned quilt project. Not for sure yet but maybe :) What is everyone else working on?

Sooo sorry for the dry spell of my posts. Two children is really twice the work, its great fun though and I love it. Things are settling down just a little so I am back to catch up. I have added some new patterns to my website and there are some free patterns on the blog, check them out and let me know what you think. I am finishing a great Christmas banner "Let it Snow" this week and hope to have it ready soon. I have had the opportunity to teach several quilting classes in the last few months and I am running a block of the month class starting in January so there will be lots of new pictures coming soon. Hope all is well, Happy Quilting Darcy

Well it's been a hectic couple of weeks. My little girl was born a few weeks early, she had only minor complications and all is well now. So we are adjusting to our new family and I am enjoying the highs and lows of a new born. Most projects are on hold for a few weeks at least. Enjoy your summer, we will be.

Hi ladies I just found this group and was so happy to. I have been quilting a long time but gave it up for crocheting LOL Anyway I am starting again and just finished 6 crazy blocks for another group I belong to. It was pretty tricky but I finally finished them and they are ready to mail. Have any of you made the crazy blocks?

Hi! I am new to quilting. I have sewn since I was in grade school but just bought my first emboidery machine. I am learning to quilt and also applique with it. I am right now in a group that is learning how to do Joan Mortan quilts and we use her fabrics. It has been a lot of fun.
    Happy quilting
    Dee
