PaintShop Pro, Photoshop, Ulead... there are lots of programs out there for creating your own clip art and graphics. They get rather pricey, tho.

I love my Macromedia fireworks. I tried paint shop and just could not get the hang of it. I have a ball playing around with graphics. I use it a lot for my greeting cards and art.

It is fairly pricey like any of the other programs. I just find it easier to understand and I am also being taught by a friend. I have been making scrapbooking items with it such as tabs, tags, and much more. There are three different ones that came with it. You can animate, siggys, web pages, templates, on and on. I am bias I guess you can say because my partner uses it and she is just amazing with her graphics. She is a self employed web site designer and graphics designer freak I call her.

This is one of my latest creations and it was so much fun making it.

Katana,

What kind of graphics are you looking to draw. I know a great deal about drawing graphics and there are a few diffrent types of ways of drawing graphics. I know a some really great sites you can try. these are written for paint shop pro. most tutorials on the net are for paint shop pro. you probably buy and older version on ebay for about 30.00 if you are just starting out.

by doing the tutorials step by step you will learn how to use and manipulate the tools to make your very own creations.

Download a free version of Paint shop pro . Corel and Jasc (paint shop pro) have now merged...

For Pixel Art (beginners)

http://www.pracken.com/tutorials.html

Tole painting (she offers some free tutorials and to use) (the others you must pay to join...which I loved her stuff so much I joined)

http://folkarttreasures.com/

I have a lot more but the pixel stuff will start you off with using the tools and stuff...

If you have any questions or help doing these let me know... I have 2 years experience with this program. I have Paint shop pro 8 and 9

I also have corel draw and do not like i. Paint shop pro really is the way to go!
