any buckeye fans?

I would like to make some ornaments for my nephews buckeye themed tree (football buckeyes not the candy!!!!). I'm thinkjng maybe brutus or something. Do any of you wonderful crafters have any suggestions on some things I could make? I am more of a visual person, so if you have any pictures, that would be great!! Thanks for helping me out!

My son in-law is a HUGE Buckeyes fan living in Vermont. This year, my daughter is stringing scarlet and gray beads to make garlands. She has also bought clear glass ornaments and removed the stem(metal hanger) and swirled acrylic scarlet and gray paint inside. Turn them upside down and let dry on a protected surface. You can paint on the outside of them, too. Another idea is to clip pictures and decoupage them on any wooden, styrofoam or glass ornament. How about beaded "candy canes?"
String tri-sided beads or round beads in scarlet and gray on pipe cleaners and bend into candy cane shapes. There is the possibility of creating garland with scarlet and gray boas available at JoAnn Fabric or Pat Catan's.

Can you get a hold of some buckeyes. you can make ornaments out of them too. Or use polymer clay to make them.
