Newbie with a ?

I belong to a couple of other boards and at this time we are doing a pattern swap........

I looked through some of the projects on this site, and am curious if we are allowed to print them out & share with others.

I am unsure of all of the copyright laws out there and am asking so I don't get into trouble

I print them out and keep the ones I plan on doing in a binder.
