Not sure if this is what you want but....

Mason Jar Lanterns

Directions:

You will need:

- 8 to 10 small mason jars & 8 to 10 tea lights

- fishing line

- fine picture wire

- colourful beads

1. Measure out 10 strips of fishing line, long enough to tie easily around the neck of the 10 mason jars. String each strip with colour beads and set aside for later.

2. We used wire to create two handles for each jar. Measure out 20 lengths of wire, (two for each jar) long enough to fit around the mouth of the jar and still have 10-inches left over for handles.

3. Fit one length of wire tightly around the mouth of the jar and bring the ends of the wire together to create one handle. Repeat this process on the other side of the jar. Bring both ends of the handles together to create a hanging lantern.

4. Tie your beaded string around the wire on the mouth of the jar for decoration. Repeat this process on all 10 jars.

5. Drop a tealight into each jar. Your lanterns are now ready for hanging!

Enjoy creating!
