Annoying "We Miss You!" emails

OK......I have tried 12 ways from Sunday to contact ANYONE that owns/works for this website to request that they PLEASE quit sending me the "BeadShark! We miss you!" emails from this website.

Here is what the email says:

Hello, BeadShark!
We've noticed that you've not been active on Crafters Community for quite some time now, and we miss you!

We would love to see you again!

I have 3 website business online, and I find this "spamming" email from crafters community at least once a week very annoying.

I have tried contacting Heidi Ott directly, I have tried emailing Crafters@yahoo.com, I have tried contacting the webmaster of this site, and I have tried going through the "Contact Us" to ask that my account be CLOSED, so that I will no longer receive these emails. NOT A ONE of my emails were ever replied to.

If someone knows how I can close my account PERMANENTLY from this annoying website, please let me know! I wish to NO LONGER belong to a site that is going to pester me all the time that I have not visited their website lately. I find it rude and pretentious.

Once or twice the email was cool, but now it seems the more I stay away, the more frequent the email is showing up! I find the email rude for "soliciting" me to come to their site if their "bot" thinks I have not been here in a while. (Pretty tricky on whoever set-up the module for that, but it is annoying as all get-out!).

I will be contacting this website's host and take it up with them that I cannot get this website to quit sending me email, after REPEATED REQUESTS to no longer receive them.

I now HATE this website with a passion, and will NEVER send ANY of my customers here for anything to do with crafts, much less have them sign-up to be a member here. (Unless they want unsolicited email).

I am sure someone in administration will take this post out. Hopefully THEY WILL CLOSE MY ACCOUNT AND BAN ME FROM EVER COMING BACK!<<HINT HINT>> And maybe I can get their email monkey off my back!

Can I ask why you didn't just mark the email as spam, then you wouldn't have gotten them anymore or they would have went directly to your junk mail .....

I have to laugh at this as you only have 4 posts yet you have been a member for 4 years, so for 4 years you've been trying to get an answer to this problem ?

I have also tried to get off here as you described and got nowhere. No email replies, etc. I like the site ,but do not have the time for it and it is a hassle to log on and post. I hope this email doesn't annoy you since I do not have an answer. I just wanted to let you know you are not alone in this.

4 posts in 4 years...you had 4 years to quit this forum...so why wait and post something so nasty about the forum...there are no words to describe your rudeness...You could have simply marked the email as Spam and that would have been the end of it...

All you need to do is simply go to your user cp....then on the left hand side menu, click edit options. Then is receive e-mails from admin etc is ticked, simply untick it.

I guess I don't understand the extent of your annoyance. If the emails were annoying you, marking them as spam should have taken care of the problem. If that did not accomplish your task, there are so very many knowledgable people on here I can't understand why you just did not put a post on one of the help boards instead of all the complicated email etc. You would have gotten a very quick response to that and it all would have been over long ago. I feel sad for you that you have had to endure all of this agravation, but if this is the extent of the email aggravation you have had to deal with, you are one lucky lady!!! I hope you are now "out of here" to your satisfaction and will never have to deal with us again! I agree with isappb, if you had posted on any board and asked for help, any one of the mods or members would have helped you. If anyone has any major problems, any member can email cupcake and she will be more then happy to help you.
Although you are a male member, I can still feel your frustration but I also don't think you have to be so rude.
We have an amazing group of thousands of members here, who enjoy sharing their craft ideas, recipes and thoughts with all of us.
As for the moderators, there is not one and I repeat NOT ONE who would fail to help a member if the need arises.
Next time you have unwanted email...SIMPLY HIT YOUR SPAM BUTTON.

Beadshark and Kare's krafts n baskets, you could also have blocked email from coming into your in box from crafters community. In your email click on messages, then click on block sender. You wouldn't even have had to come to this site to make any changes and above all to grumble and complain. I feel bad for you that you couldn't figure out this solution in 4 years. That is truly a shame.

Beadshark, did you ever hear that you get more using honey than you do with vinegar and a sharp tongue. I will be praying for you. That hate that you show will start to drag you down.

This shows the true character of most of the members of this community. The members who responded with kindness and politeness are some of the most active on here. They are moderators and senior members. The way that they responded makes me very proud to be a part of this group. Way to go ladies!
