How to.................

Want to make a photo album, place a classified, promote your craft business? Well I'm going to help you out. Everything is easy if you take your time and read the instructions.

Classifieds
Let's start with the Crafters Classifieds. They're easy to do. Simply click on Resources at the top menu then click Classifieds. Click submit a new ad to start the process. Just follow the instructions. Add a picture of the item, it will help sell that item. When you've placed it, you will have an option to feature the ad for additional credits. (I'll tell about credits in a minute). A featured ad will show up on the home page of CC and the forum homepage also. It will rotate as more ads are featured.
Now about credits. They can be purchased by clicking credits in the classified section. You'll see there also how many credits you have. The price is as follows 50 credits for $5, 120 credits for $10 and 250 credits for $20. Much cheaper than E-bay, so let's get started and get it going!
We have all sorts of categories from finished crafts, to craft supplies, to garage sale items. If you have any suggestions for a category, don't hesitate to PM me.
Note: Only family friendly items are allowed. Anything lewd will be removed immediately.

Photo Albums
To make a photo album, click on Community at the top menu. Then click on photo album. You'll see everyone's albums there. If you'd like to add your own, click on ad album (that's at the left side near the top of the albums). Please family friendly only, lewd will be removed and member banned. Also, no selling of items in albums, that's why we offer classifieds and a place to post your website within the forums.

Promoting your Craft Business
We have many different ways of promoting your craft business here.
First is banner exchange. To access banner exchange, click on resources at the top menu, then click banner exchange. Then follow the directions. Please make sure your banner url is correct and working. And please add your banner, you won't get approved if it's not (I've got a few that don't have banners and they will be deleted soon). And don't worry about smut getting in. I approve all banners and if it's not family friendly, it does not get approved. And please add the banner to your website, if its not there, no one can click it, and if no one clicks it, you don't get credits and your banner is not seen.
(I'd like to clarify something that is incorrect in the FAQ. You are not credited every time the banner is viewed, you are credited every time someone clicks on the banner.)
Next is Top 100 Craft Sites. Again, click resources and the click Top 100. Follow the instructions there. Remember to put the banner on your site to get your votes counted.
And last is the Craft Site Directory. You guessed it, click on resources and then craft site directory. Follow the instructions there.
Just a note on all of these promote your business items. They are all on an approval bases. If the site is not family friendly, it does not get approved. So you can rest assured that only family friendly banners will show up on banner exchange (unless someone pulls a switcharoo like I've seen them do before!)

Crafters Groups
We offer groups here for shared interests. Whether it be sewing, crocheting, pets etc you can start a group if one hasn't been started. To visit Crafters Groups click on Community in the top menu then click Crafters Groups. There you'll see a list of groups available or as I said, make your own if your interest isn't there. And remember....keep it clean and family friendly.

We also offer other events ongoing...Bingo at times (We are always on the lookout for sponsors. If your business would like to sponsor a bingo and get your link posted in the bingo page, please contact me.)
We also have swaps that are posted on the swap board.
Craft Challenges occasionally, though the participation has not been that high lately, we'll try again later.
