Drying flowers with kitty litter!!

I'll have to give this a try, and borrow some kitty litter off my mom!! No animals in my house except my Hubby!! Haha!!

[img]images/smiley_icons/daisy.gif[/img] YES, I have used kitty litter to dry flowers. i use the kind that is "scoopable" and i think it was Wal-Marts brand. It really depends on the type of flower you are trying to dry as to what drying agent i use. I have dried mini roses, carnations and other many petaled flowers in litter. other flowers that are more delicate, i use the silica gel, with better results. I also use both drying agents in the microwave!
