Egghead Decoration

Grow your own egghead! It's easy and fun for the kids!



Supplied needed:



Clean egg shell with the top broken off

Half a cup of potting soil

Teaspoon of grass seed

5-6" strip of card stock

Scissors

Glue or tape

Black marker (optional)

Directions



Tape or glue the card stock into a ring to hold the egg. You can decorate it first if you prefer.

Fill the broken egg to almost the top with potting soil.

Sprinkle some seed into the soil.

Add a little more soil on top of seeds.

You can draw or decorate the outside of the egg with a facial design.

Place a small amount of water on top, careful not to overflow or soak it.

Sit egghead in a sunny spot.

Watch your egghead grow. Within a day or so, you should see a sprout. In a week, you should have some "hair"!

Don't forget, sometimes your egghead will need a haircut!
