Valentine Pindoll Swap

Thought we would start out the New Year with a smaller type doll as most of us are still recooperating from the busy crafting season.

Each person will make a Valentine pindoll, you can discuss with your partner if you need to put a pinback on it or not. I have found that there is quite a difference in mailing cost without it as in Canada it has to do with thickness of the package and not weight.

Signup is from now until January 7th, 2008
Mail out January 30th, 2008

Hopefully everyone will receive their pindoll in time to wear or display for Valentine's Day

Yes that is what a pindoll is a doll that becomes a brooch they are usually 2 to 5 inches in size. Alot display them on vests or quilts but some do wear them as well on jackets, ponchos etc. I will post some links later to some Valentine pindolls.

Sign me up please Meg.It has been awhile since I made pin dolls.

I plan on taking part too, its been awhile since I have had a chance to make a large doll last year pindolls were all I had time for, I find you can do one in an afternoon quite easily.

Looks like its just the three of us but that is ok we will do a round robin in the order we signed up as.
We overlooked one that joined through a pm so we do have four but will still do a round robin.

How is everyone doing on their pindoll? I took the time tuesday afternoon to make mine and I popped it in the mail this morning. I am quite busy at the moment with bookwork and next week is already full so thought I better get it done while I had the chance. So Imzadis let me know when she arrives ok.
