Swap Rules...PLEASE READ!



New Guidelines and Rules.

1. Be sure you read and understand all the rules and instructions before you sign up for a craft swap.

2. When you sign up for a swap(of any kind) remember that your word is an agreement, between you and your partner.

3. If something happens (and sometimes it does)notify your partner AND moderator IMMEDIATELY!! If the swap project is going out late let all parties know and approximate time to expect it. If you can't send the project at all, let them know so that one of the Swap Angels can be notified to help out.

4. You will be allowed to use the Swap Angels to help you only once in a six month period. IF the excuse you give is for an understandable reason. But you will have to pay a penalty for that, you will have to volunteer to be a Swap Angel once when needed!!

5. Failure to notify your partner and moderator of your inability to send the swap project will result in the denial of your option to swap again, in the Crafters Community.

6. Failure to honour these guidelines could lead to your Community BAN!!

7. Sign up for the swaps early!! From now on when there is an odd number of swaps, the swap will then turn into a round robin. The way a round robin works is, you send to one person, but receive from another!! If you would like to take an extra partner for a swap, please let me know!! I will post in the swap a few days before the due date that we have an uneven number!!

8. You must save a postal receipts evidence that you have sent your swap. A copy of the receipt must be sent upon request of either your partner or the moderator.

9. The Moderator will track Private Messages sent to you when swap partner is given...DO NOT DENY RECEIPT!! If moderator does not receive receipt, she will assume you have not read the message and then you will get an e-mail asking why the PM has not been read, especially when she can see that you have been visiting the boards.

Requirements to Join a Swap

1. You must be an active member for 3 months before signing up for a swap.

2. You must have 20 posts to your credit to show that you have been active within the Community.

3. If this is your first swap you can have only one partner. You may sign up for only 3 swaps per month, but until you have the first successful swap, you may only swap once. The only exception will be the FQ swaps. These will not count toward your 3 swaps/month.

4. All info for the swaps will be handed out through our own Private Message System (P.M.'s) Learn to use it and check it often!!! When you have received your swap partners info, please contact the moderator. Also confirm your addresses with each other. Do this as soon as you recieve your partner!! Do not wait for them, you make the first move!!

5. COMMUNICATION is the key to successful swaps! All swap partners are required to send pm's to each other and the moderator every week until the swaps are mailed.

From now on you will be sent your pm's with a tracking option on it!! DO NOT BYPASS this !!! Make sure you click on the pm message so the tracker option will now send the message for you and you don't have to worry about it!!

Now this ONLY goes to the Moderator, not your partner!! So you must still contact your partner and swap info!!

6. You will send the moderator (Cupcake) the following info and please line it up as follows.


1. Date you joined site(in your profile)
2. Your site name (as we see it on the site)
3. Your real Name
4. Your FULL Address
5. Your email(for emergency use only), will not be giving out to anyone, this is only for the moderator's use, and I will keep them on hard copy(paper) only)


I will expect all of you to use the P.M. system to keep track of and correspond with your partners. DO NOT SEND OUT a swap until you have heard from your partner. Let your partner and moderators know when you have sent out and received your swaps. Part of the fun is getting to know who you are swapping with and their likes and dislikes!!

If you are stiffed the first question I will ask you is did you have correspondence from your partner!!!!!!!! Communication is the key to a successful swap!! If you think you have been stiffed, please contact me and I will email your partner right away and contact you!!

Please don't be put off by all the rules and regulations they are there to protect you as best we can!!!

All the info you have given me will be kept on hard file and not in my computer!!! I do not give out any info without your permission first!! This is a promise.
