I'm sure all you doll makers know this trick but I wanted to share it with those others that might not. To make inexpensive hair take yarn (color of choice for hair) wrap it around a small knitting needle (I used a #5) several times ...wet it....squeeze out excess...place in preheated 250 degree oven for 10 -15 mins or longer until dry....the yarn will come out curly (similar to mini curly hair)...and hold shape...I just thought this was a great trick!
Purchase a sweater of the hair color you desire, at a second hand store, wash and dry it!! Now the fun begins, If you can find the side seems undo them, them start at the bottom and start unraveling. This will give you a hair with a kink in it!! Looks like a wavy style, and you can get a ton of hair from one sweater!!
