| 1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 cup shortening
2 tbsps. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Mix this, press in 13 x 9 pan and bake 15 min at 325
6 cups rhubarb (cut up) scalded and drained well
4 egg yolks
Add 1 1/2 cups sugar mixed with 2 tbsp. flour. Add 1/3 cup milk.
Pour on top of crust. Bake 40 min. at 325
Make meringue with the egg whites and 8 tbsp sugar. Bake till golden brown. About 20 min. |
