Steamed Pears With Raspberry Yogurt Sauce--Low Fat |

| Ingredients
2 pears, peeled, halved and cored
1 tablespoon lemon juice
12 ounces frozen raspberries, partially thawed
1/4 cup plain non-fat yogurt
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
Directions
Rub pear halves with lemon juice to prevent browning. Place the pear halves, cut side down, on a steamer rack. Steam 4 to 5 minutes or until tender. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
Purée raspberries in a blender or food processor; press through a sieve to remove seeds.
Stir sugar into yogurt. Place the yogurt mixture in a pastry bag fitted with a fine tip. Pour about 1/4 cup of the raspberry puree on each of 4 dessert plates. Pipe the yogurt mixture in a spiral design on the sauce. Draw a knife from the center of the plate to the edge, spoke-fashion, to create a web design.
Place the chilled pear halves, cut side down, on the sauce. Sprinkle with grated orange peel |
