Please Help!

I am currently stitching a project which I recently started again after a long time of having it in storage. The aida fabric has some yellow marks on it and to compound the problem I put masking tape around the edges so that it wouldn't fray. When I remove part of the masking tape it has left some yellowish marks also. I can't cut off the edges because it would be too close to the stitches.

Can any one recommend what I can do to get these marks out? I don't want to lose my project because of this. This is my first big project.

Dry cleaners....but make sure they know how to take care of the item. If you have other stitching friends around ask them if they've ever used one and see how they liked their work.

A little note on the masking tape: I use to use it....but I got a product called fray check. It's a liquid and you drop it on your material edges and it prevents it from fraying...you may have to re-apply a few times, but it does the trick and doesn't leave any residue.
