Ever stitched with 7 strands?

I have a pattern of victorian fashions. The charts calls for various numbers of strands to stitch the designs - 1 - 7 strands. I usually use 2 strands for 14 cound aida but have never heard of 7 strands before. Have anyone here on the board stitched with 7 strands and if so how did you find it?

7 strands???? Wow! I've never used 7 in cross stitch before...I use 5 or 6 in my primitive stitchery!!! Let me know how it turns out!

Wow I never have heard of that either and I use 2-4 strand but 7 please let us know or show us a picture if you can wouldlove to see it.
