Old 03-11-2006, 11:17 PM   #1 (permalink)

I am looking for a sutiable way to store my floss. Right now I have them all in one bag. Some get all tangled so I was wondering if any of you guys can give me some idea on how you store your floss and how you also store your charts, kits etc.

Hi and Welcome,

To answer your question I store mind in small ziploc bags and then take them and put them in a large one. As far as the other stuff I have a folder and put all my charts & kits into it and then put in my file cabinet. One thing I do also is once I get a pattern I have 2 copies made from oringal and I work on the copy and keep orginal in case I want to do it again.

I too store mine in ziplock bags while working on the project. The smaller snack size work great!!! I'm such a dork, I keep my current project in a basket with directions and everything. The projects with the larger hanks I use a larger bag. Once the project is done, then I store the unused floss in one of those great storage thingies. Then, the bags are reused for the next project! I love the idea of coping the directions. I need to start doing that!! Happy crafting!!!

I use the cardboard bobbins and a plastic storage box made just for them. I've got 2 of the big boxes filled and I use a smaller one for any projects I'm working on.
