Yeah. Crocheting goes so much faster than knitting, that and my hubby doesn't complain about me crocheting in the car while he is drivng the way he does about me knitting.

it sure is faster for me ~ I remember years ago I made a sweater crocheted the bodice and wanted to knit the sleeves well two years later the sleeves were done LOL then I ended up giving the thing away
Why doesn't he like yo to knit in the car ?

well you just never know when you have to grab a hook quick !!!! The majority are in a zipped case but there are many lost souls around the house ~

The pointed needles....he thinks I would kill someone in the car (probably him) if we were in and accident....

I like to crochet little things. He would probably ban my little hooks too.

Glad to see I'm not the only one with crochet hooks that seem to have feet and migrate all over the house.

Yeah, well he can be a bit of a pessimist or paranoid.....

we live over 100 feet from the road, up a hill and people drive past the house at 30-60mph (it's actually a 20mph zone but you knw how people are)....and anyway, he swears that people can see in the windows and what I am (or am not wearing) from that distance!!
I have tried explaining that no one is looking in the windows when they drive by, but it doesn't matter....

Try it out. Have him drive by and see if he can see anything. Of course, he may say yes, just to win a difference of opinion.
