Tell us what you are working on , any great new yarn you have tried, any long term crochet goals , or maybe you just want to discuss a project you are having difficulty with or are enjoying so much you want to tell us all about it :)

After of say a month or the topic becomes stale I'll clean it up and we can start again :)

Just thought I would pop in and tell ya what all I have been hookin :) I just finished 3 ponchos for a set of triplets , and a pink and brown round ripple baby ghan for my gran daughter due in May ~On the hook I have a wrap it is from Lion Brand and called urban wrap , and I am doing in a variegated blue/grey ~

oh and has anyone tried those lighted hooks ? not sure if we talked about them but I don't care for the thick handles I do like the lighted part for working with darker yarns ~ any thoughts on these?

I have just joined an American non profit organisation who knit and crochet for charity. And I will start the South African wing of this organisation. We will be donating our "stash" to 2 orphanages who look after aids orphans. And that is what I am doing right now....... Knitting and crocheting for these charities. And what is REALLY great, I am using bright colours (to cheer up theses little ones)....

Default Flip Flops
Old 05-21-2009, 10:55 PM   #6 (permalink)

I spent 2 weeks in Md, made 6 pairs of crocheted flip flops using featherery Fun Fur. I just single crocheted around the toe and the top part of the shoe. Used 2 different colors of yarn. Everyone said the flipflops were very comfortable. Very easy to do.
