CRAFTY BLOGSDo you blog? Do you post craft projects and instructions on your blog? List your blog here. The blog does need to be family friendly, any blogs posted with adult content will be deleted.
go to blogger.com it is run by Google and is pretty easy to set up. Everything is explained there and you can be as extravagant as you want or say as little as you need to. You don't have to post every day only when you have something you want to say. A lot of people have their own craft, etc blogs where they show their work and sometimes give free patterns. Mine is a mixture of my crocheting and my family life. I started one because I enjoyed reading everyone elses so I took the chance I could do it and by George I did it. Mine is called Hounddog's News because that is one of my nicknames on line and in most of my crochet forums. Give it a try and I bet you will love it and let us know when you set it up.

Yup. I have one too. It's called "Life in the Farming Lane" (kinda like Life in the Fast Lane except my life is nowhere like that). It's mostly about my family life. I may put more in later. I just started it a couple months ago. It's kinda fun!
If you want people to read your blog, put a link to it in your signature spot at the bottom of your e-mails and on here, or whatever other forums you may belong to...if it's allowed.

Blogger.com is great, and it really walks you through it, but I have no idea with it if people are actually reading or seeing my blog.
WordPress.com is nice too, a little more restrictive in what you can and can't put on it and colors and stuff, but it has a stats page and you can see how many people per day are reading your stuff and how they found you.
I have my craft blog, which has stuff about what I make, and what I sell, and then general kinda stuff on Blogger... Notes from "a TAMM creation"
And then I have a general, from my mind blog on Wordpress, that I blog recaps of tv shows, and book reviews and other stuff where I am working on my writing skills... aTAMMmommy’s Weblog
I like having the blogs, and I guess it's kinda like an online journal in a way for me.
Hi! Blogs are great! You can talk about what ever your heart desires! Mine is a mish mash of my crafting with every day stuff.
Like your blog, it's a nice mix of personal and crafting. I would have left a comment or two but you have it set up for only other Google bloggers to use.

I love reading what you write, but how does one learn about blogging, and then have people read it? Any assistance you could give wouldbe helpful.
Don't know how Blogger and WordPress work, but set it up where you are submitting your RSS feed someplace. (RSS feed simply announces to another site that you have a new post.) Many of the social networking sites have this.
Write a mix of personal and informational posts to get the best results. Do keep in mind that people can get a bit too personal and end up posting things that can later come back to bite them.
