Yard Sale For The Cure is a one day national event presented by RE/MAX. Now in its fifth year, Yard Sale For The cure started in the Beaches by breast cancer survivor Rachael Smith, in 2005 with 350 registered yard sales and charitable donations of over $45,000. To date over $450,000 has been raised thanks to the tremendous efforts of RE/MAX sales associates, Brokers, Managers and support staff throughout Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.

On May 30 / 2009, Our Re/Max office is hosting the Yard Sale for the Cure in our area.
Last year was our second annual sale and was very successful. The community donated tons of items for the Yard Sale and the local grocery stores donated the items for the BBQ lunch. We raised over $2500.00 for Breast Cancer Research. The community was very supportive and even tho it poured rain almost all day, we had a great turn out.
By participating in Yard Sale for the Cure you are making a difference in women’s lives. Re/Max has been a sponsor of Yard Sale for the Cure from the very beginning and has embraced the vision of a world where our daughters may never hear the words, “You have breast cancer.”
