Default Flag Rules
Old 07-01-2008, 03:34 PM   #1 (permalink)

Our flag shoud be treated with respect.
Never let it touch the ground.
Never let the sun set on it.
If you want to let it out overnight have a light shinning on it. That is now allowed.
Always hang flag so that the stars are on your left when you look at it.
The color red is for courage, white is for purity and blue is
for loyalty.

hi there
i am glad to see other know the rules of the flag there are many like treat an old flag with respect burn it not use it for some thing else but the one i learned a few years ago from my dad is if you hang a flag upside down it is a call for help ... he did it once when he and a friend had to put the flag up for school and a bunch of people came to the school to see what was wrong ... lesson learned lol

have a great 4th
