I love all Christmas swaps and I prefer home made things. After all, we *are* crafters.

Afke I don't know about a dollhouse item swap,not sure how many have dollhouses...wouldn't the items be store bought?????

I personally really enjoy buying things to send to my CC friends. I am so busy that I don't always have time to make things and it's nice to get anything in the mail other than bills.

If I think of anything to add to your lists I'll let you know!

You can buy and you can make items, but you're right I don't know how many are into doll houses.
Nods, Leanna, time is always a problem but when you commit yourself to a swap saying "a homemade item" you *should* make something yourself and not buy

Thank you Leanna...I like anything in the mail other than bills If you have any ideas for swaps I would love to hear them...

Afke some members are busy with family and young children and just don't have the time to make everything handmade as their time is limited and I will not force anyone to just make handmade items...Yes we are a Crafting Community but not everyone has the time to make crafts for swaps every week...I hope that we will all have a wonderful time with our Swaps...

Not all the swaps say handmade. If it doesn't say handmade, an item can be bought. If it says handmade, and someone doesn't have time to make something, that swap can be skipped. Many people are busy holding down full time jobs, raising a family and taking care of their home. There should be swaps for items that can be bought or handmade. It would not be fair to these busy moms to have every swap be something handmade.

I Think a swap "Friends Across The Miles" Swap would be real fun.
You get your pal and find out what they like ..and surprise them.

An Autumn swap would be nice.
