Default my roses

I tried making those coffee filter roses listed in CC's paper craft projects section. What fun they were to make. I didn't follow the directions exactly. I changed them abit. I wanted to use different material. They came out great. I also put a drop of light rose fragrance oil(from my soap making supplies) into the middle of the roses for scent. Other than waiting for the filters to dry, Putting the roses together took no time at all. Great for Valentines Day.

Gorgeous!! You did a wonderful job!! I'm gonna have to look that one up to make for myself! It will be the only roses I get!!

I also found a cute poem and made a little card to go with the rose. The picture of the poem is kinda blurry, but you may be able to read it. ( the poem is not mine. it is by Joanna Fuchs)
