This is the first time I have posted a picture. I hope I got it in the correct place. I recently made a diaper cake for one of my friends who is becoming a grandma. She took it to the baby shower this weekend. I have made several of these with different themes. They're so fun to make and everything on the cake can be used for the new little one.

Nice job what a nice gift. My sister makes them and she also makes towels cakes for Bridal showers.

Thanks, I have heard that you can do the towels for a bridal shower, I have not seen one though.

I love the idea of giving baby diapers in a non traditional way...Do you have directions? How are the layers connected together? If possible, could I have the directions..

Sure, there are instructions on the about.com website and other places. Here is a site that has the full instructions: http://http://www.creative-baby-show...aper-cake.html
Go to Google or Yahoo and just put in "diaper cake instructions" and you will have your choice of several site that have instructions. Here's one:

the About.com site has intructions as well. Hope this helps.

I love the cake! I made 2 of them before, but, they were quite a bit different. Love the bows coming down the side.
