Default My Latest Craft...Snowflake Angels...

Hi everyone

This is something I made tonight...These are angels made out of plastic canvas for the dresses and arms stitched white,but they could be any color...wooden ball knobs for the heads...Stitched the stem in green and the flowers in red French knots...

I cut out 2 snowflakes and then glued them together...and then added the thread all around the snowflake in the same color that the french knots are on each angel...Added the halo and glued the Angels to the snowflake...Will add a hang tag so they can go on a tree or maybe even a magnet to go on the fridge...haven't quite decided yet on that...

Tomorrow I am going to make some more in different colors for the Angels bodies for Christmas...

These two took me about 2 hours to complete...from start to finish...

Love them, the snowflakes looks like ceramic are they plastic canvas, did you stitch the whole flake or just the edging, looks like you squeezed paint around a ceramic piece.

Thank you everyone...

The snowflakes are done in white felt...glued together and the threading is also glued on...The angels take about 1/2 an hour to make...

These are just lovely... can you tell me the approx. size of each angel? I am always looking for Angel ideas for our yearly St.Francis Angel and this could be one ...would you mind sharing directions?

I can do better than tell you the size of the angels...If you would like the full size pattern,just pm me or post it here...

Here is one I did last night with the white snowflake over the red snowflake...not sure if I like it though...
